How to Read Family Suite Occupancy
- Look at the split, not the total. The Fives' three-bedroom residence sleeps ten but only two of them can be minors, while Hyatt Ziva Cancun's two-bedroom suite takes up to four children.
- Infants may count separately. Regnum Carya lists an infant on top of six adults and a child.
- Consider connecting rooms. Riu Palace Aquarelle in Jamaica sells connecting junior suites, Delphin Imperial in Turkey has connecting rooms, and Titanic Deluxe Lara's Annex Family Rooms are two connected rooms.
- Check the upgrade tier. Catalonia's two-bedroom Grand Family Suites are in its Privileged section, and Grand Palladium Kantenah's Family Selection adds a family butler and a family-only pool.
- Don't assume child pricing. Child rates change by date and room, so enter every child's age on the booking page.
