- Temperature: January and February have the lowest average highs, about 86 °F; August is the hottest, with highs about 92 °F.
- Hurricanes: the Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30, peaking around September 10. Hurricane Melissa closed several resorts in late 2025; the ones on this page are open.
